Malabrigo Dos Tierras Paracas 338 Merino Baby Alpaca DK Yarn Variegated Soft Sweater Shawl

Malabrigo Dos Tierras DK Merino & Baby Alpaca Yarn — Paracas (Color 338)

Meaning "Two Lands," Malabrigo Dos Tierras combines two of South America's finest fibers: 50% fine Uruguayan merino wool and 50% baby alpaca from Peru. This 4-ply DK-weight yarn offers unmatched next-to-skin softness, graceful drape, and crisp stitch definition. Hand-dyed in vibrant, artisan multi-colored shifts, Paracas (338) showcases a striking variegated palette of deep teal, rich plum, jewel-tone violet, and subtle earthy accents—making it a captivating choice for statement sweaters, shawls, cowls, accessories, colorwork, and heirloom garments.

A Note on Unique Craftsmanship & Media:
Original photos display the exact hanks available in stock. Dos Tierras’ 4-ply merino/alpaca blend excels in draped shawls, detailed stitchwork, and cozy garments (featured in the Koriburi Shawl on Ravelry). Because Dos Tierras is hand-dyed, alternating skeins every few rows is recommended for seamless color distribution across larger projects.
